Venue: Meeting Room 1, Bleachingfield Centre, Dunbar EH42 1DX
Your ticket includes all the materials: fabric, threads, designs, an embroidery hoop and needle, as well as instructions throughout the day. You get to take everything home with you!
We will cover everything from the basics of threading a needle to how to finish hoops to hang on the wall. Suitable for complete adult beginners with a class size of up to 5 people so there will be plenty of time for questions and chat with your fellow class mates.
Your day will include -
In the morning you will complete a stitch sampler with guidance from Amy, covering a range of stitches.
Break for a short lunch where you will have time to choose what design from the pre printed fabric you want to start in the afternoon. Please note - tea, coffee and cake will be provided (please provide any allergy information) but lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch with you.
After lunch you will be given freedom to choose your own thread colours and stitches while you work on a ready drawn design. Each design has its own level of difficulty and Amy will be on hand to help with stitch choices and any problems you may have. If you have your own design that you want to work on please feel free to bring it along.
This is a great opportunity to be introduced to a new hobby and meet some new crafty friends.
