A two hour workshop where you will learn to make your very own sea glass/pottery jewellery.
I live in Portobello and collect sea glass/pottery from beaches all over East Lothian and Scotland and then turn these into unique pieces of jewellery. I have a large collection which you will be able to choose from to create your one of a kind jewellery. Or if you have your own sea glass then you are more than welcome to bring these along to the workshop.
What you will make:
By the end of the workshop you'll get to take away two items of jewellery, making a pendant necklace and earrings or two necklaces. These can be worn straight away or even kept to give as a gift.
Within the workshop will learn two techniques, drilling and wire wrapping, as well being taught how to assemble your jewellery.
For the necklaces you will have a choice of colour cord made from waxed cotton to hang the pendant and when making the earrings you will have a choice of a number of different designs.
All the equipment is provided, just bring yourself and your own sea glass/pottery if you would like to:)
If you have any further questions the please do not hesitate to get in touch.
I look forward to meeting you at Portobello Town Hall.
Caroline :)
(Please note if children are attending they need to be accompanied by an adult)
