The exhibition explores social isolation arising from the pandemic, when the creative process became more solitary and opportunities to collaborate and engage with others were limited. Artists found themselves re-defining their work and relationship with silence through this period. They ask themselves:
Does the creative process need silence, or does it need noise and company? Do artists thrive in both situations?
For this exhibition members are selecting pieces of their work for sale, as well as creating new work specifically for the Drill Hall space and showing some artwork that has been made collectively.
