In this panel discussion, we will take an honest look at the role mentorships and awards play in nurturing creative and professional growth and how they contribute to enriching the literary landscape and building community around poetry.
Chaired by Niall Campbell of the Roddy Lumsden memorial mentorship, this panel will feature recent mentee Tim Tim Cheng, Julie Laing, who was mentored through the St Mungo Mirrorball's Clydebuilt 13 verse apprenticeship scheme, and Roshni Gallagher, winner of the Edwin Morgan Poetry Award and Scottish Book Trust's New Writers Award in 2022.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
