A sublimely dark, gothic, evening’s entertainment as some of Scotland's most exciting, fearless writers including Ever Dundas, Harry Josephine Giles and Iona Lee perform newly-commissioned poems inspired by the history of Summerhall with each set to original music composed and performed by David Paul Jones in a "cinema for the ears".
Each of these site-specific poems discovers traces of the building's history, or the place as it is now, our poets have written Summerhall into an imaginary menagerie of the fantastical and the downright grisly. Come along and listen as these excellent new works bring the bones of the building to life.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
