Presented by Clan Heraldry subject specialist Ross McEwen.
The age of swords of shields may (for the most part...) be over, however we are now living in the renaissance of Scottish Clan culture, not just in Scotland, but around the world.
This free public lecture is part of the 2024 programme of The Heraldry Society of Scotland, will journey through the legal standing of Scottish Clan Chiefs, how does someone become one, and how Scots Heraldry and the Court of the Lord Lyon recognises Chiefs of Clans and Families, and what this means for communities with Scottish heritage around the world.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
