Join Neil Sutcliffe for a celebration of Robert Burns, Scottish traditional music and song, with the odd French connection thrown in!
About Burns Night Concert : Neil Sutcliffe
Alongside all the well-known Burns classics – Ae Fond Kiss, The Lea-Rig, and Auld Lang Syne – Neil will share some of the poet’s lesser-known songs, such as Composed in Autumn, Bonnie Bell and Rattlin Roarin Willie. Burns is celebrated both for his original poetry and his collecting and editing of songs and ballads of the time, so Neil will partner his songs with some older traditional Scots folksongs and ballads.
