The “wild woman” journey can feel lonely at times. You may feel shunned and ridiculed, and you may lose friends along the way. But you are not alone. You will find your tribe - those who appreciate and value you for who you truly are. Come to explore how nature teaches us about our community - our tribe.
Being outside in the wilds helps us connect to our own true wild nature. Come to these outdoor wild women workshops to discover more about your “wild woman” - yes, she is lurking inside you ready to come out! “Wild” here means connected to a vast integrity, a deep knowing, a soulful, wondrous sense of being. The facilitator Annabel Allen will make reference to the epic book “Women Who Run With the Wolves”* by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. Annabel will also draw on her own personal “wild woman” journey which has led her to a more fulfilling life.
We will be walking around. Put on your boots or strong shoes and warm clothes, bring rainwear and a water bottle. We will go out in all weathers. We dare to be wild!
Suggestion: join our “Wild Women Wednesdays” indoor workshops.
For many years Annabel has been on a zig-zag wild woman journey. She has undergone many tough endurance tests, including in the mountains of Scotland and the jungles of Sri Lanka. Throughout these challenges, she has honed her intuition and grown in determination to continue on the wild woman path. She is a “wild woman” guide for other women.
*You don’t have to read this book in advance of the workshop but it is highly recommended.
We encourage you to come to as many workshops as you can.
We will meet outside the front door of Radisson Blu Hotel, 80 High Street, Royal Mile Edinburgh, EH1 1TH and head to the wilds from there.
Price £45 per person per workshop
