The 3rd Annual Lothians model railway show is being held at our new home the Students union at Heriot Watt university Edinburgh, just minutes from the city Bypass and M8 motorway.
Venue: The Students Union, Heriot-Watt University, Riccarton, Currie Edinburgh EH14 4AS
Lothian Buses serve the campus and there is ample on site parking the union is accessible, has a cafe and cash machines are located within the campus.
This year adults are £6 and KIDS GO FREE with a paying Adult and we are continuing our early opening 30 mins prior to stated hrs for wheelchairs and sensory conditions.
The 16 layouts attending this year depict the railway/railroads of the UK, Australia, USA and Switzerland and New for 2025 we have a Lego Railway for the kids and a shunting puzzle that everyone can try there hand at and a modelling demonstration and alongside the layouts we have our Friendly traders selling Locos and rolling stock, track, buildings, electrical and scenic accessories, die cast models, tools, paints and Trees. Displays from Aln valley Railway and the Carnyllie pilot company complete our line up.
