Printmaking offers a wonderful variety of methods, each with its own unique characteristics and aesthetic possibilities. From the intricate detail of intaglio techniques like etching and engraving to the bold, graphic quality of relief printing methods such as woodcut and linocut, there is something for every artist's style and vision. Screen printing allows for vibrant colours and versatile applications, while lithography offers a fluidity and subtlety that is unmatched. Whether employing traditional techniques or embracing digital innovations, printmakers have a rich array of methods at their disposal to explore and express their creativity. This exhibition offers a closer look at 18 artists' approach to printmaking.
