About Introduction to Somatic Therapy
Discover the basics of somatic work and learn how to integrate its powerful practices into your daily life to regulate your nervous system. In our fast-paced world, we often suppress the natural emotions that arise within us, leading to emotional triggers and an unbalanced nervous system. Somatic work gently guides you to use movement to release these pent-up emotions, helping your nervous system complete its natural cycle and signaling to your body that you are safe once more.
In this supportive workshop, we will explore the transformative benefits of somatic work, delve into its core principles, and introduce you to practical somatic tools you can use when feeling overwhelmed. Together, we’ll engage in a calming body scan exercise, teaching you how to tune into the emotions residing within your body.
This workshop aims to equip you with safe and effective ways to self-regulate in your everyday life, and perhaps inspire you to consider if Somatic Therapy is the right path for your holistic well-being. Join us to rediscover your body’s wisdom and cultivate a sense of inner peace and balance.
You are advised to partake in weekend 1 to get the full understanding of your somatic system before booking on weeks 2-4.
