Labyrinth Walk - (indoors) with Norma D Hunter
“Elemental (in Edinburgh)” created for the, 2024 Edinburgh Arts Festival, invites the participant to ponder on the elements that stimulate their individual senses and reflect on special memories that may well be long forgotten.
Norma D Hunter is an artist who practices socially engaged art. Currently living in the North East of Scotland, her work has been shown extensively at home and abroad. She has shown work previously, with The Artists’ Pool, a London based artists’ collective, both in London and Edinburgh. Hunter works with three main themes, Women, Walking and Well-being (both of the individual and of the environment) and often creates participatory pieces with which her audience can interact. Labyrinths have long since intrigued and been employed as a means to provide a space for self reflection and time for just, “ being” for those engaging with the work.
