At first glance, the Marseille cards can look like a set of simple playing cards – but by paying attention, we learn that there is so much more symbolism beneath the surface.
This fun and informative workshop will introduce you to this wise old system, explaining the key differences between the Marseille system of reading and more common Tarot approaches. There will be plenty of practical exercises to try, including how to read these cards in a modern and therapeutic way for yourself and others, rather than as a divination tool.
You don’t need to know anything about Tarot to book – and even experienced Tarot readers will find inspiration.
Payment includes a new pack of Marseille tarot cards for you to take home and cherish (these are genuine copies worth £20-£30 – not cheap poor quality copies that are so common online these days).
Location: Art and Spirituality, 6-8 Alexander Drive, EH11 2RH Edinburgh
About Stephen McCabe and Green Temple Therapy:
I am an eco-therapy practitioner, professional tarot reader, qualified counsellor and ordained Zen Buddhist living in Midlothian. I have been reading tarot for around 20 years and I incorporate the cards into my work in many ways, running several groups online and in Edinburgh. For me, the Tarot is a profound spiritual teacher who speaks through image. You can find out more about my work at www.naturetherapyonline.net
