Scotland’s Music with the Edinburgh Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra

About Scotland’s Music with the Edinburgh Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra

The Edinburgh Mandolin & Guitar Orchestra (EMGO) are a group of enthusiastic amateur musicians who play mandolins, mandolas and guitars. Our repertoire is drawn from a wide range of musical genres, although for this performance we will be focusing on traditional Scottish pieces with the addition of a few contemporary pieces.

The Scottish Story Telling Centre venue is a relaxed space where you can have a break from the hustle and bustle of the streets, and listen to some Scots music played on some of the more unusual traditional instruments, all for free. We will be playing in two parts 1-1:30pm and 2-2:30pm, so stay for a bit or stay for all. We will also be right beside the cafe so what more could you want! We look forward to seeing you there!
