Lewis began writing songs at 14 and gained recognition after collaborating with Andy Monaghan of Frightened Rabbit on his debut album, "Feel the Ground You Walk Upon", leading to performances at Glastonbury, Mosley Folk and Latitude Festival.

"A Hope In Fear" the new album from Lewis McLaughlin, explores themes of self-discovery and resilience. It features a dynamic collection of songs, capturing a rawness and energy of musicians recording in a space together, responding to each other and performing as one element with Lewis’ voice centring the journey.
