Sporting Memories is a charity and social enterprise that helps older people to reminisce, replay and reconnect through the power of sport.
We support a wide range of people aged 50+, from those living with dementia, living with depression or facing isolation and loneliness to improve their mental and physical wellbeing through our regular club sessions across the UK.
Sporting Memories clubs are a place to come together socially, over a cuppa, to reminisce and talk about sport (although no topic is off limits!). Everyone is guaranteed a friendly welcome from a team of trained volunteers, and we aim to take part in fun, inclusive activities like quizzes, Spot the Ball, and even gentle physical activity such as boccia or indoor curling.
Come join us every Thursday at Priestfield Church, 2 Marchhall Place, EH16 5HW beginning from September 5th. Look forward to hopefully seeing you there.
