About The King In Yellow
The King in Yellow is a two-act play, a gothic fantasy, penned at an unknown time by an unknown author. Details of the plot and themes are obscure. It was thought lost in the fire that consumed the theatre on the night of its first and only public recital. It is said to be cursed. We have obtained the sole surviving manuscript of this sinister text, and we will not let urban legends of insanity, possession, and eldritch gods get in the way of a good show. Preparations have been made. We are ready. Will you be witness?
All Edinburgh Horror Festival events at the Banshee Labyrinth are over 18 only and ID may be requested. Late admission is at the discretion of the act, and many do not allow late admission so please arrive ten minutes early.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
