Hosted at the enchanting Palm House, Johnston Terrace Nature Reserve, this hands-on experience will bring Scottish folklore to life through storytelling and creative expression.
Perfect for children aged 7 and up, this workshop begins with the captivating tale of the Ghillie Dhu, a gentle woodland spirit, before inspiring participants to craft their own mystical forest hanging and Christmas ornaments. Using natural materials and mixed media, young artists will explore their imagination while forging a deeper connection to the natural world.
Lasting two hours, this engaging session encourages creativity, playfulness, and environmental awareness, making it a truly memorable experience for budding young creators. All materials are provided—just bring your enthusiasm and curiosity!
