Latvian jazz singer Santa Šillere will continue her European concert tour, Other Ways. Virtuoso saxophonist Toms Rudzinskis will join her as a special guest for the evening.
Santa Šillere may be a new name to Scottish audiences, but her debut album Other Ways has already earned praise from critics across Latvia and Europe. This tour marks her first opportunity to present her music to a broader international audience, blending heartfelt ballads with rhythmic melodies in both Latvian and English.
Released in late 2023, Other Ways is a deeply personal exploration of Santa's musical journey, inviting listeners to connect emotionally and reflect on her stories. Over the past year, Santa has released three new songs and participated in major music events like Jazzahead and the European Jazz Network, further establishing her reputation in the European jazz scene.

The European tour includes stops in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Germany, and the United Kingdom, with performances at renowned venues such as Berlin's B-Flat and Jazz Dock in Prague. This Edinburgh performance will be a special introduction for Scottish audiences to discover Santa Šillere's unique sound and live experience. Tickets are available via The Jazz Bar website and at the venue on the day of the concert.
Santa Šillere is a Latvian jazz singer and composer who has performed at festivals including Saulkrasti Jazz (LV), Rīgas Ritmi (LV), Birštonas Jazz (LT), Voicingers (PL), and Girls Power In Jazz (DK). She was a finalist in the Riga Jazz Stage 2019 competition. In late 2023, her debut album Other Ways was nominated for "Debut of the Year" at the Latvian National Culture Awards.
