On Sunday 8th December, we are very excited to be holding an Art Exhibition Fundraiser at Submarine Art Studio in Edinburgh! The event will be at free entry from 12pm-6pm with drinks and canapes served from 4pm-6pm.
The overall aim is to raise funds to sponsor an under-privileged child to receive the very best education in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Myself and my partner have worked at St George’s International School for the past two academic years and it truly is the most beautiful environment to be in. Along with our friend, who joined us there, we are looking to continue our efforts in ensuring every child has access to a great education and supporting them through their academic journey – with this fundraiser being our first venture on Scottish soil.
While spending almost two years working at, and helping run, St. George’s International School, we set up a Child Sponsorship program and successfully raised enough money to sponsor a child to join our School. The aim of our art show is to raise enough to allow other children the same opportunity.
A collection of local artists have kindly donated their time and work and we are so excited to see all their pieces showcased!
This event is open to all public so we hope to see as many of you as possible and are really grateful for any support!
