Summerhall will once again host the annual Summerhall Big Christmas Weekend from Friday 6th - Sunday 8th December, featuring three days of festive fun!

Summerhall will host the annual Summerhall Big Christmas Weekend, featuring three days of festive fun, including an extensive Christmas Market, music, dancing, workshops, and more!
A full weekend of Christmas creativity and fun for the local community, Summerhall’s Big Christmas Weekend begins on Friday 6th with the annual, sell-out Christmas Ceilidh in the Main Hall run by the esteemed Edinburgh Ceilidh Club. Then on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th, the building hosts a massive Christmas Market boasting over 72 stalls with a huge variety of artisanal and hand-crafted wares from statement earrings to plush crocheted animals perfect for Christmas gifting, or as a little treat for yourself. Visitors can expect a pet photography pop-up; for the 10th year seasonal carols from the community choir, Summerhall Singers; local independent sandwich shop Albys supplying hotdogs; Steam Bunny with their festive bao buns; On The Piste return with authentic raclette, hot drinks and their famous Jägermeister Slushies and much, much more! We hear Santa and his sleigh will be in attendance too! And for those shopping for Christmas gifts with a personal touch, Edinburgh-based sustainability driven design studio Polymorphics will be offering workshops in the creation of stunning eco-resin trays and tree decorations.

This is a full weekend of Christmas creativity where special gifts can be bought and made, tasty treats enjoyed, and the festive spirit found at every corner.
