'O thou, my muse! guid auld Scotch drink!'
Where better to celebrate the Bard himself than in a whisky distillery? Join us for an evening of festivities, as we bring you a night dedicated to the life and works of the beloved poet, Robert Burns!
You'll be welcomed with a warming hot toddy on arrival, and have a chance to get to know your host while taking in the surroundings of our historic building.
First, let us introduce you to our Distillery and our spirits - where Scottish tradition meets modernity and experimentation. In our Spirits Lab you'll enjoy a taste of our new Homeland gin - made using Scottish juniper - and hear tales of local legends which have inspired our very own identity.
'Thae curst horse-leeches o' the' Excise'
Moving through to our Still Room, you'll learn more about the whisky making of Burns' time - plus his surprising career connections to our industry, and his lasting impact on Scottish culture past and present.
Burns’ love of whisky has become almost as famous as his works - which feature many references to our national drink. To help you raise a toast to Burns himself, you'll also enjoy tastings of two of our single malt whiskies. It also wouldn't be a celebration of the Bard without a dramatic poetry recital or two, which you'll be treated to by our expert story tellers as you make your way through the Distillery.
Upon reaching the end of the tour route, you'll be welcomed by the sound of live music playing in our bar, as our players entertain you with traditional Scottish songs throughout the night.
As you relax and enjoy the music, why not try another whisky or two from our pop-up 'Drams Bar' in our Cask Room, or indulge in a delicious cocktail from our specially curated menu for the evening.
*Want to make your night extra special?*
We are offering guests the chance to join a small, intimate group tasting of two of our most exclusive and limited whiskies available. Moving away from the main group, you'll be joined by one of our expert guides, who will take you for a private tasting where you'll have the chance to ask as many questions as you like. Be assured, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the music and festivities once you return to the main rooms.
Enhanced tasting tickets are limited and cannot be added on the night.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
