Bathe yourself in candlelight and exquisite choral music at this service of Compline, the final prayer of the monastic “hours.” But there’s no need to visit a monastery — just come to Tollcross.

This atmospheric moment at the end of the day weaves together ancient songs and meditative prayer.

As the Christmas season draws to a close, the church’s celebration of the Feast of Candlemas reflects on themes of light and hope. A tranquil space for contemplation at nightfall in one of Edinburgh’s architectural gems.
