A fabulous evening of chamber music and imagery.
‘The Painters in my Garden' is inspired by paintings by some of the Glasgow Boys - many of which are hanging in the National Gallery of Scotland, Edinburgh. These musical paintings are interspersed with songs by Robert Burns.
We are joined by the wonderful Hannah Rarity for both pieces and the projects tie together many threads of scottish artistry; from artworks, musicians, Borders history, scottish poets and living composers.
Beautiful music and friendly chat about the works and their creation, this concert will be approx. one hour in duration.
