This Chinese brush painting class explores a variety of subjects, from fruits and vegetables to lotus and orchid flowers, birds, and fish. More than just an art class, it offers a meditative experience while introducing you to a rich artistic tradition.
You'll develop key Chinese brush painting techniques, mastering the use of brush, ink, and paper while practising essential strokes and styles.
Beyond technique, the course also delves into the cultural and historical significance of Chinese painting, exploring its influence on other artistic traditions.
