Catherine will guide you through an all-levels hatha practice that aims to bring balance to the body and mind. Her classes will be aligned with the seasons and moon cycles to help us feel more rooted and connected with nature.
These classes will be suitable for all levels, and variations will be offered to help you practise in a way that feels right for your body. Catherine aims to honour the roots of yoga, which extend far beyond asanas (yoga poses). Her classes will include meditation and pranayama (breathwork), as well as sun or moon salutations and a series of standing, seated and supine asanas.
We hope you will leave the classes feeling relaxed and rejuvenated with a renewed appreciation for the cycles of nature and beauty of the natural world.
What to bring to the class:
Please wear clothing you feel comfortable in and bring your own mat if you have one - we also have a couple of spares you can borrow.
Catherine's Teacher Bio: After practising yoga for over a decade, Catherine completed her 200-hour multi-style teacher training at the World Peace Yoga School in Bali, Indonesia in Spring 2024. Catherine likes to practise yoga in a way that aligns with the seasons and cycles of the moon, and hopes our practice together will help you feel more connected with nature and more balanced in your body and mind. Catherine believes that yoga should be for everyone, and aims to create a welcoming and inclusive space that honours the roots of yoga.
