This class is aimed at folks who've attended a beginner's sewing class (or already familiar with sewing up and threading a sewing machine) and would like to progress their skills.
During this workshop, you will make a gorgeous make-up or wash bag that is lined and has a zipper to close.
During the beginner's class, you will have mastered how to set up a sewing machine – winding the bobbin, threading machine and controlling the speed and direction of sewing – then making a cushion cover!
Taking this to the next level you can easily progress onto fitting a zip, lining and precision in cutting and sewing a smaller item - i.e. the washbag.
After this class, you'll be ready to join our dressmaking class and start making your own clothes!
Knowledge required:
Intermediate - must have attended a beginner's sewing class or can thread a sewing machine without supervision and able t0 sew in straight and curved lines.
