The Meaning Map Project is a new community art project which seeks to document connections to place in the context of the climate crisis. Co-founders, Emma Meehan and Megan Roberts, are facilitating participatory mapping across the city. Funded by Edinburgh Climate Community Action Network (ECCAN), two open days are upcoming. We would love to see you there!
Refreshments will be provided as well as art materials to play with.
Ultimately these maps will be used as:
Visual testaments to pressure policy makers
Works of art visualising connections in local communities
Expressions of intent in the climate emergency
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
