What could be better than indulging in pancakes made by the Chefs in the Royal Deck Tearoom as you take in stunning waterfront views! Whilst touring the five decks of The Royal Yacht Britannia, take a break in the Tearoom on Tuesday 4th March, 11.30 – 13.30, to enjoy freshly made pancakes with your choice from a selection of sweet toppings.
Continue your tour to discover life aboard this iconic ship, which was once home to Queen Elizabeth II and the Royal Family for over 40 years, sailing over one million nautical miles around the world. Now berthed in Leith, just a short tram ride directly from Edinburgh’s city centre, Britannia is a fascinating day out where visitors can follow in the footsteps of Royalty and gain an insight into life at sea. Try on the crew’s uniforms, listen to the fascinating audio guide, available in over 30 languages, ASL/BSL tablet and Braille script, and look out for the cuddly corgis hiding in the Cuddly Corgi Treasure Hunt.
