Back for its third year, this sell-out event, From Botanists to Suffragists, invites visitors to explore the stories of remarkable women connected to Edinburgh's New Town during the Georgian period. Discover the hidden contributions of women who shaped the city’s history — from pioneering botanists and lesbian landowners to early suffragists and anti-slavery campaigners — whose legacies have left a lasting impact.
This event is free-flow. Visitors are encouraged to explore the house at their own pace with guides in each room to chat with and ask questions.
Enjoy an evening of untold stories, new collections, and refreshments!
