“Lach’s great!” - Bob Dylan

"Lach is incredibly bright, he's influential, he's funny, he's smart, and he’s got his own, sort of, counter-culture charm. A very intelligent songwriter, funny, poetic. He became part of New York folklore." - Suzanne Vega

“He’s f**king funny!” - Nikki Sixx (Motley Crüe)

“Lach? He came, he saw, he conquered!”- Bruce Foxton

“Lach is a fellow revolutionary, fellow spirit, and an inspiration to me!” - Ian Prowse

"He's a street-corner ambassador. Lach is beat. He's a ringmaster. He's a poet's poet." - Michelle Shocked

"The best punk rhythm guitarist since Johnny Ramone." - Billy Ficca (of Television)

“The best songwriter that I’ve ever met.” - Adam Green (of The Moldy Peaches)

“I wouldn't be playing music today if not for Lach. He's weird, wild, and wonderful. I’m awed and inspired by Lach, he’s unbelievable!” - Jeffrey Lewis

“I really don’t know how to respond.” - Michael Des Barres
